Prologue:  In 1775 Paul Revere rode through the streets warning the villagers that the, "British were coming". The task of warning the villagers was easy, since the signs of danger were clear - the British' guns and their rule. Today a similar problem is occurring to our economic well being; however, the general population has been so desensitized that they do not see it. They are lost amongst the trees in the forest. In more modern terms, in the history of economics the Imperialists have turned on Capitalism. Historically Imperialists have always hid beneath the guise of capitalism. We may think of an "Old School Capitalist" (an Imperialist) as a factory owner, during the late 1800's - early 1900's, who underpaid their workers, treated them poorly and used child labor. The communists opposed them, the socialists opposed them and so did the American unions. This type of factory owner is what most people will incorrectly refer to as an "Capitalist". They are Imperialists.

For a variety of social, economic and political reasons many of these individuals accumulated in the US around WW II. Many stayed in their country to help undermine the government's efforts implementing their new policies. Those that fled to the US invested a great deal in the "baby boomers" out of fear. Fear of losing their land or having their company nationalized. For example, after the 1910 Mexican Revolution Mexico introduced several land reform acts (Agrarian Acts) that took land held by others (including US companies) and gave it to their poorest of citizens. As another example, Africa has several countries that implemented similar policies.

When the Cold War between the US and the USSR ended, these "Old School Capitalists"/Imperialists had nothing to fear. Now they are on the loose again using the same business practices used nearly a century ago with a well planned and well thought out strategy to undermine the US and the rest of the world. So how does one warn, through the common day to day experience, the general public so that they can recognize that we are under attack economically?

I first made these observations in December 2006 and I put them in writing in April of 2007. The beauty of this analysis is that I am simply connecting world events over time. I make very few assumptions. In the original rough draft I had not taken the time to look up dates; however, after a former classmate and friend edited the rough draft he felt dates were important. With that said, I have now added a few dates, and will always be a work in progress. I'm sure there are mistakes, but any minor mistake does not out way the historical events and the numerous trends. I had hoped that my observations were wrong; but nearly 3 years after I first observed these phenomena, I see history is unfolding as told in these few pages.
