Immigration Policy

Needs to address three areas:

1) Country of origin and how many persons each year are allowed to enter from each country and for what reasons. Current and future needs of our US work force need to be addressed. This includes keeping families intact when they enter the US as well as improvements in the application process to instill fairness and consistency in allowing qualified persons to enter the US.

2) Stopping the illegal migration at its source
Implementing the proposed changes in economic policy will reduce 90% of illegal immigration from our border with Mexico.

3) Addressing how to classify those persons who are currently here illegally.
Develop a set of guidelines, rules and consequences for those persons in the US illegally but who are already integrated into our society. These should address US Citizenship, Residency and work permits.

Solving it in this manner will gather support from both sides of the issue and simplifies.
