Economy

The economic challenges that lie ahead of the US economy are so looming that not only do they threaten the lifestyle of white middle class America, but Europe, Mexico, Central and South America, Canada and without saying the rest of America. The biggest obstacle or impediment to beginning to resolve our problems is our own government. But the buck does not stop there. It actually stops with the nearly 70% of Americans that do neither participate nor get involved in the political process. The enemy lies within our borders. The enemy will be us if we do not rise to the occasion as a nation to resolve these problems.

The problems exist because white middle class America, specifically the baby boomers, have a great deal of money that is wanted by others who want control.

Moving beyond the impediments. The primary areas that pose the threat are:  social security, Medicare, the federal debt, inflation, declining US Dollar, high energy costs, a lack of energy independence, Wall Street, the current housing and banking crisis, any large move away from using the US Dollar as the currency of trade and last but not least any economic shocks in China that have effects that leave their borders.

The secondary areas that potentially pose a threat are:  our societies inability to adapt and manage the problems, climate change, the usual natural disasters that occur in the US, the rise in autism in the US and an illegal immigration problem if it is not properly resolved.
